How do you organise your week after a layoff? after 15 years as a data-entry clerk

Since my layoff as a data-entry clerk I have no real structure. I tried blocking out hours for applications but I lose steam by noon. What helps you switch off?

I aim for three focused hours, then stop. More than that and my applications got worse.
