How do you organise your week after a layoff? after 10 years as a quality inspector

Since my layoff as a quality inspector I have no real structure. I worked as a quality inspector before this. I tried blocking out hours for applications but I lose steam by noon. How many hours do you really work on the search?

I use one day for networking, one for applications and one for learning something. Variety helps.
