How do you organise your week after a layoff?

Since my layoff as a payroll clerk I have no real structure. Thank you in advance. Some days I do nothing and feel guilty. What helps you switch off?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
