How do you organise your week after a layoff?

Since my layoff as an accounts payable clerk I have no real structure. I am in Detroit, in case local advice matters. Some days I do nothing and feel guilty. How many hours do you really work on the search?

I aim for three focused hours, then stop. More than that and my applications got worse.
