How do you organise your week after a layoff? - 4 weeks in

I want a realistic schedule for the week that does not burn me out. There are 5 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I tried blocking out hours for applications but I lose steam by noon. What helps you switch off?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
