How do you organise your week after a layoff?

Since my layoff as a graphic designer I have no real structure. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I tried blocking out hours for applications but I lose steam by noon. What helps you switch off?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

I use one day for networking, one for applications and one for learning something. Variety helps.
