How do you organise your week after a layoff? - 13 months and counting

Since my layoff as a payroll clerk I have no real structure. There are 15 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I tried blocking out hours for applications but I lose steam by noon. What helps you switch off?

A walk before I start and a call with a friend at lunch keep me steady.
