How do you organise your week after a layoff? - 10 months and counting

Since my layoff as an IT help-desk technician I have no real structure. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I tried blocking out hours for applications but I lose steam by noon. How many hours do you really work on the search?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
