How do you organise your week after a layoff?

Since my layoff as a security officer I have no real structure. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I tried blocking out hours for applications but I lose steam by noon. What helps you switch off?

I aim for three focused hours, then stop. More than that and my applications got worse.
