How do you handle bills on unemployment? - what worked for you?

I am $950 short each month and trying to find it. Any experience at all would help. The rent is fixed and the car payment is high. Any apps or methods?

Sell things you do not use. I made about $950 from a weekend of listing.

I called each lender and asked for a hardship plan. Two agreed to lower payments for a few months.
