How do you handle bills on unemployment? - what worked for you?

I am $850 short each month and trying to find it. There are 18 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I listed needs and wants and cut a few subscriptions. What helped you?

Check for energy assistance programmes. I got a credit that covered two bills.

Sell things you do not use. I made about $850 from a weekend of listing.
