How do you handle bills on unemployment? - what worked for you?

My income is now a fraction of what it was as a data-entry clerk and I am trying to cover the essentials. Any experience at all would help. I listed needs and wants and cut a few subscriptions. Any apps or methods?

Check for energy assistance programmes. I got a credit that covered two bills.
