How do you handle bills on unemployment? - what worked for you?

I am $1200 short each month and trying to find it. I am in Nashville, in case local advice matters. The rent is fixed and the car payment is high. Any apps or methods?

I called each lender and asked for a hardship plan. Two agreed to lower payments for a few months.
