How do you handle bills on unemployment? (update)

I am $1050 short each month and trying to find it. I worked as an accounts payable clerk before this. The rent is fixed and the car payment is high.

I called each lender and asked for a hardship plan. Two agreed to lower payments for a few months.

Sell things you do not use. I made about $1050 from a weekend of listing.
