How do you handle bills on unemployment? - first time posting

We are a household of 8 and the budget no longer works. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I listed needs and wants and cut a few subscriptions. Did lenders work with you?

I called each lender and asked for a hardship plan. Two agreed to lower payments for a few months.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 11 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
