How do you handle bills on unemployment?

My income is now a fraction of what it was as an IT help-desk technician and I am trying to cover the essentials. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I am nervous about falling behind.

Check for energy assistance programmes. I got a credit that covered two bills.

Sell things you do not use. I made about $1200 from a weekend of listing.
