How do you handle bills on unemployment? - any advice?

My income is now a fraction of what it was as a janitorial supervisor and I am trying to cover the essentials. I listed needs and wants and cut a few subscriptions. What helped you?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.

A paper list of bills by due date helped me more than an app. I could see the month at a glance.
