How do you handle bills on unemployment? - any advice?

I am $600 short each month and trying to find it. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I listed needs and wants and cut a few subscriptions. What helped you?

A paper list of bills by due date helped me more than an app. I could see the month at a glance.

Check for energy assistance programmes. I got a credit that covered two bills.
