How do you handle bills on unemployment? after 13 years as a bank teller

My income is now a fraction of what it was as a bank teller and I am trying to cover the essentials. I am in Knoxville, in case local advice matters. I listed needs and wants and cut a few subscriptions. Did lenders work with you?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
