How do you handle bills on unemployment? after 12 years as a payroll clerk

We are a household of 12 and the budget no longer works. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I am nervous about falling behind. Did lenders work with you?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.

I called each lender and asked for a hardship plan. Two agreed to lower payments for a few months.
