How do you handle bills on unemployment?

We are a household of 16 and the budget no longer works. I am in Birmingham, in case local advice matters. I listed needs and wants and cut a few subscriptions. Did lenders work with you?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
