Getting to interviews without a car in Tucson - 22 weeks in

I do not have a car and interviews in Tucson are spread around. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. Some employers are off the main lines. What do you use?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
