Getting to interviews without a car in San Diego - 7 months and counting

I do not have a car and interviews in San Diego are spread around. Thank you in advance. Some employers are off the main lines. Are there discounted passes?

Some workforce centres hand out bus tokens for interviews. Ask at the desk.

I planned routes the night before with a trip planner and left twenty minutes early.
