Getting to interviews without a car in Salt Lake City - any advice?

I need a cheap way to get to several appointments. I do not want to be late. What do you use?

I planned routes the night before with a trip planner and left twenty minutes early.

If you can, schedule interviews back to back in the same area to save fares.
