Getting to interviews without a car in Raleigh - any advice?

The bus takes almost an hour to reach the places hiring as a machine operator. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. Some employers are off the main lines.

If you can, schedule interviews back to back in the same area to save fares.
