Getting to interviews without a car in Providence (update)

I need a cheap way to get to several appointments. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I do not want to be late. What do you use?

I planned routes the night before with a trip planner and left twenty minutes early.

Some workforce centres hand out bus tokens for interviews. Ask at the desk.
