Getting to interviews without a car in Minneapolis - what worked for you?

I need a cheap way to get to several appointments. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I do not want to be late. Are there discounted passes?

I planned routes the night before with a trip planner and left twenty minutes early.
