Getting to interviews without a car in Little Rock - what worked for you?

I need a cheap way to get to several appointments. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I can walk part of the way. What do you use?

Our transit agency has a reduced-fare pass for people with low income. The application took a week.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
