Getting to interviews without a car in Knoxville - what worked for you?

I need a cheap way to get to several appointments. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I can walk part of the way. What do you use?

Some workforce centres hand out bus tokens for interviews. Ask at the desk.

Our transit agency has a reduced-fare pass for people with low income. The application took a week.
