Getting to interviews without a car in Knoxville (update)

The bus takes almost an hour to reach the places hiring as a pharmacy technician. I am in Knoxville, in case local advice matters. I can walk part of the way. Are there discounted passes?

If you can, schedule interviews back to back in the same area to save fares.

I planned routes the night before with a trip planner and left twenty minutes early.
