Getting to interviews without a car in Knoxville (update)

I need a cheap way to get to several appointments. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I can walk part of the way. Are there discounted passes?

Our transit agency has a reduced-fare pass for people with low income. The application took a week.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
