Getting to interviews without a car in Jacksonville (update)

I do not have a car and interviews in Jacksonville are spread around. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I can walk part of the way. Are there discounted passes?

I planned routes the night before with a trip planner and left twenty minutes early.
