Getting to interviews without a car in Fresno (update)

The bus takes almost an hour to reach the places hiring as an electrician's helper. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I can walk part of the way. What do you use?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 3 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
