Getting to interviews without a car in Fresno (update)

The bus takes almost an hour to reach the places hiring as a graphic designer. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I do not want to be late. Are there discounted passes?

Our transit agency has a reduced-fare pass for people with low income. The application took a week.
