Getting to interviews without a car in Chicago

I need a cheap way to get to several appointments. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I can walk part of the way. Any rideshare programmes?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
