Getting to interviews without a car in Birmingham after 17 years as a production planner

The bus takes almost an hour to reach the places hiring as a production planner. I have been trying to stay organised about it. Some employers are off the main lines. Are there discounted passes?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
