Getting to interviews without a car in Birmingham - 7 months and counting

I do not have a car and interviews in Birmingham are spread around. I am in Birmingham, in case local advice matters. Some employers are off the main lines. Any rideshare programmes?

Our transit agency has a reduced-fare pass for people with low income. The application took a week.
