Free resources I wish I had found sooner - what worked for you?

I want to share what helped me after being laid off as a welding apprentice in Madison. I worked as a welding apprentice before this. The workforce centre ran a weekly job club. What else is out there?

Call 211 to hear about local help with food, rent and utilities. It is free and open at all hours.

Thanks for this. The library also had printing and a quiet room that I used for phone interviews.
