Free resources I wish I had found sooner - what worked for you?

I want to share what helped me after being laid off as an administrative assistant in Buffalo. I have been trying to stay organised about it. The workforce centre ran a weekly job club. What else is out there?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 14 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
