Free resources I wish I had found sooner - what worked for you?

A neighbour pointed me to a programme that I wish I had known earlier. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. A food pantry near me has evening hours. What else is out there?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 14 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
