Free resources I wish I had found sooner (update)

I found a few free services in Detroit that I did not know about. I have been trying to stay organised about it. A food pantry near me has evening hours. Any other programmes worth trying?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Call 211 to hear about local help with food, rent and utilities. It is free and open at all hours.
