Free resources I wish I had found sooner (update)

I found a few free services in San Diego that I did not know about. I worked as a home health aide before this. A food pantry near me has evening hours. Has anyone used the tax clinics?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
