I want to share what helped me after being laid off as a pharmacy technician in Providence. I am in Providence, in case local advice matters. The library had résumé help and free computer time. Any other programmes worth trying?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

I found free tax help through a community volunteer programme. It saved me a fee.
