Free resources I wish I had found sooner - any advice?

A neighbour pointed me to a programme that I wish I had known earlier. I have been trying to stay organised about it. The workforce centre ran a weekly job club. Any other programmes worth trying?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
