Free resources I wish I had found sooner - any advice?

I found a few free services in Boston that I did not know about. There are 17 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. A food pantry near me has evening hours. Has anyone used the tax clinics?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
