Free resources I wish I had found sooner - any advice?

I found a few free services in Birmingham that I did not know about. I worked as a project coordinator before this. The workforce centre ran a weekly job club. Has anyone used the tax clinics?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 5 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
