Free resources I wish I had found sooner

A neighbour pointed me to a programme that I wish I had known earlier. Any experience at all would help. The library had résumé help and free computer time. What else is out there?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 14 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
