Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? - what worked for you?

I need a cheap way to get to several appointments. Some employers are off the main lines. Are there discounted passes?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 3 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

If you can, schedule interviews back to back in the same area to save fares.
