Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? - what worked for you?

I do not have a car and interviews in Boston are spread around. It has been weighing on me all week. I can walk part of the way. Are there discounted passes?

I planned routes the night before with a trip planner and left twenty minutes early.

If you can, schedule interviews back to back in the same area to save fares.
