Does anyone have tips for local transport to interviews? - what worked for you?

The bus takes almost an hour to reach the places hiring as a copywriter. I am in Detroit, in case local advice matters. Some employers are off the main lines. Any rideshare programmes?

I planned routes the night before with a trip planner and left twenty minutes early.
